The coin depicts the image of Miguel Hidalgo on the obverse and the Mexican arms (eagle with serpent in its mouth standing on cactus) on the reverse. The obverse has the legend "DOS Y MEDIO PESOS*1945" below Hidalgo's head. The reverse has the legend "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" above the arms. The coin has a reeded edge and a toothed border. It is KM-463, weighs about 2.1 grams of 0.900 gold, and measures approximately 15.5 mm in diameter. I would grade it as good extremely fine to about uncirculated or much better with minimum wear.
