Description: This auction is for a vintage 1950s RCA Orthopedic High Fidelity table top record player. It is a rare 4 speed model 7HF 5 not the 6HF 5 single speed. It runs on all speeds 16,33 45 and 78 but NO Sound. It is an automatic player and when you turn it on it drops the record, turns the table and then when finished running shuts off the complete unit. It has excellent mahogany wood and a nice grill with RCA tag. The right side panel on very top front and rear has a small crack where the side panel only on the top edge pulled away about 1/8" see photos at end of listing. I took some photos of the inside working parts thru the round inspection/lubing hole and everything looks to be in place. I don't have the optional 45 automatic changer but have one that may work. This is a heavy player 33 lbs. I also have a portable GE radio/record player model DECORATOR II see last photo and a full size GRUNDIG console , radio, record player and tape player made in Germany I will be listing model SO 191 U/1.
