Description: 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport Convertible Restomod This car is a frame-off restomod, blending timeless classic appeal with modern performance and drivability. Under the hood is a 6.0-liter LQ4 LS-based V8, delivering the power and reliability of a new vehicle while preserving the raw, analog essence of a classic muscle car. With a completely new chassis and freshly rebuilt powertrain, this vehicle handles and drives like a modern machine. Below is a comprehensive list of all its upgrades: - Restored and powder coated convertible frame from Jim’s Chevelle Alley - All new body bushings and hardware - Tubular control arms with serviceable polyurethane bushings - Polyurethane motor mounts - Billet aluminum transmission mount - UMI 2” Drop coil springs - Bilstein shocks - QA1 sway bars - Yukon Dura-Grip limited slip rear end w/3.73 rear gear - Rear disc brake conversion - 6.0l 364cu/in LQ4 LS-Based Fuel Injected V8 - BTR Stage II N/A Cam (227/238 .620″/.605″ 113.5+2.5) - Holley 42lb Injectors - Rocker trunnion needle bearing upgrade - Billet oil diverter - New replacement pistons - New oil pan - Freshly rebuilt - Fabricated aluminum intake manifold - 92mm Billet throttle body (102mm pictured) - Cold air intake - ICT Billet Front accessory drive - Frostbite aluminum radiator w/electric fans - Full 3 inch exhaust w/ X-pipe and Flowmaster 50 series mufflers - Mid-Length headers - 4l80e 4-speed automatic - Aluminum driveshaft w/1350 U-Joints - Holley Terminator X Max EFI w/handheld touchscreen controller (dash mounted) - Full AN fuel lines - Single-stage rally red paint - LED headlights - Brand new black convertible top - Sport bucket seats from Mercedes C-Class (original buckets available) - Full Fat-Mat sound insulation - Lokar floor shifter - 18in Ridler wheels - Nitto NT555 G2 tires (275 front, 295 rear) -…and countless other upgrades This car also includes some extra parts such as the original bucket seats and a complete original air conditioning setup w/controls from a 70’ GTO. The chassis has only had ~1500miles put on it since the rebuild. The body has about 135,000 miles on it. There are a few areas of this car that need some work. While it drives great, it still needs a full tune to get the most out of the 6.0l LS engine. The paint has a couple of chips as it was done about 30 years ago. The body has some sheet metal issues, but luckily all of the replacement reproduction sheet metal is available and is not too expensive. There are also some issues that are common with a car that is 54 years old, such as stiff door latches and wobbly windows. All of those can be solved as weekend father and son projects. This car has been very good to me and has had very few reliability issues. I am looking to find somebody who will truly enjoy and appreciate this car and will care for it. Feel free to ask any questions about it; I would be happy to answer. Feel free to make an offer. Thank you for looking.
