The Regiment Commander, Colonel Hanson Gregg, could not abide by aligning with House Steiner. His 7 year old son was killed in an airstrike 10 years before during a border skirmish and blamed House Steiner. He took over 80% of his regiment with him and started taking contracts for anyone other than the Federated Commonwealth.
