6 SOLD Vintage watch band Beads of Rice 17mm compatible for Speedking Bubbleback

Description: Great quality 1960s/70s Beads of Rice band with the scarce 17mm straight ends compatible with the 1940s vintage Rolex Oyster Speedking shown (WATCH IS NOT INCLUDED) and Rolex Bubbleback watch models with the special 17mm lugs size. Auction is for the steel watch bracelet only. Signed on the back of the clasp “Stainless Steel.” Perfect gradual taper out to the 17mm wide end pieces. It is difficult to find straight-end BoR bands in special sizes like this one. It was discovered as New Old Stock from the 1960s/70s. We have sold 5 of these to watch collectors already. One rare feature about this BoR band is that you can use it on a fixed-lugs watch because the end tubes have a C-shape with a slot opening accessible from the back, to pry it open a bit and slip over solid lug bars, then bend it back in place. The last pictures show the end tube's open slots from the back side. Check carefully that the length of this band will work for you or ask us about buying extra links and having us install them. The length as shown fully extended is 6 inches (15cm) and it sizes down to 5 1/2 inches (14cm) with the gradual adjustments in the clasp. You can shorten it even more by removing links, which is easy to do on these BoR bands. Need it longer for a large wrist? We can provide extra links and install them. Clasp is 17.3mm wide. Links are 3.2mm thick. Band weighs 32 grams.
