Description: I purchased this from an antique shop in Hong Kong in 2000. I was told this was Chinese but am not an expert myself. The scrimshaw is on all 8 pieces and depict different scenes as they go down. There is some marks and chips out of the bone as shown in the pictures so please keep that in mind. This is a really neat piece, and now you know as much about it as I do. The handle and tip look to be cow horn, or similar material. The "links" are bone of some kind. The length of the walking stick is about 26" Please ask any questions before bidding and please know what you are bidding on.
