The blade is etched, "The Celebrated Whisker Razor." The tang is marked, "George Wostenholm & Son's Celebrated I-XL Razor, Sheffield." The blade shows some evidence of hone wear. There are no nicks in the cutting edge and it's free of any cracks. The blade has a 3 inch cutting edge and seems to be the original full length. The blade is mostly free of surface rust and pitting. The scales aren't warped but they are cracked and pretty solidly repaired with twine. The blade fits snugly between the scales. Insurance is required on all shipments and will be charged with a handling fee and included in the shipping quote. Handling fee reflects Ebay’s change in policy where they now charge the seller a 10% commission on the shipping costs.
