Description: This is an absolutely stunning glass pedestal cake stand which includes a covered glass dome. This is a very rare and utterly unique piece, which has been crafted with heavy and high quality clear glass which was then carefully hand painted with brightly colored flowers. The clear glass lid is dome shaped and is tall enough to accommodate a very impressive sized cake or a good number of desserts. It has been beautifully and skillfully hand-painted with a number of flowers that range from orange, to yellow, to red as well as exquisite stems and leaves. The dome shaped cover also features round knob on top for easily removing and placing it on and off of the stand. The glass base is heavy for support and features a raised lip around the entire rim, ensuring your cake or dessert is secured. The base also features a fairly thick stem which has a thin, yellow spiral band that wraps around it. It also has a round pedestal base, which has been hand painted with the same style of red, orange and yellow flowers and beautiful green leaves and stems as the cover. Both the lid and the stand are in great condition with no nicks, cracks, or chips. The hand-painted floral design is in great condition with some minor wear in some places that is not easily noticed (see photos, please). It measures 9.5 inches in height with the lid on and is 9.5 inches in diameter. The stand measure 4 inches tall without the lid and the base has a diameter of 5 inches.
