She’s a freshwater boat coming to us from a tiny lake outside of Birmingham, Alabama. She’s had just one owner, and he’s a senior -we love buying boats from senior citizens! Perhaps the most recognizable of design changes are the dual integrated swim platforms - gone is the traditional, vertical transom with bolt-on ladder. The new, lower profile transom has large, horizontal flat surfaces which make getting into and out of the boat both from the water or from the dock much easier. These stable platforms look great too, with modern lines flowing seamlessly from bow to stern. Other cool features include - locking dry storage in the console, high quality rotomolded cooler seat, low profile internal stainless steel handrails, four drink holders, and of course, an unsinkable hull! She’s Coast Guard rated for 6 people, has a dry weight of 1,060 lbs and an overall length of 17’ 5”, including those integrated swim platforms. The ride quality for a sixteen footer is truly remarkable. The 90 hp Mercury outboard has more than enough power for water sports of all kinds. The modified V hull and shallow draft allows anglers to get in close to the shoreline, or chase the big fish around the bay. Simply put, this is the best Super Sport ever produced.
