The weight and bulkiness in addition to the amount of packing required for safe arrival makes this impractical. The combined cost of the item and shipping expense involved is taken into account when the item is originally priced by the seller. All mold sections are wrapped together with clear plastic cling wrap, then wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a box filled with loose fill. That box is then packed into a larger box with loose fill such as packing peanuts. This is quite labor intensive, but necessary for you to receive your molds intact. The seller (me) provides the boxes and packing materials. The cost to ship a heavy bulky item includes more than just the USPS or FedEx carrier cost. Unfortunately, we can't just pop a mold into a padded envelope and drop it off at the post office. We take special care in shipping each mold. In addition to careful packaging, our shipments are insured However, sometimes things happen out of our control and on rare occasions, damage can occur during shipment. In the event that an item arrives damaged, a claim must be submitted to the proper shipping company. Please be aware that:1. The damaged item(s), box, packaging, and all contents must be retained until the insurance claim process is resolved.2. The carrier will require that photos be provided of the purchased item(s), the box and the packing materials. **Please hold onto all pieces of the purchased item, the box and shipping material as the carrier will not reimburse for the damages unless and until their required documentation is submitted. 3.
