Description: Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing. The strings are discoloration. The product is the guitar in the photo and a hard case with a built-in amplifier. Guitar stand is not included. The stopper of the hard case has discoloration and deteriorated over time, so it gets caught when opening and closing. This is a 1965 Silvertone #1448 AMP IN CASE. SILVERTONE was a brand of a Chicago department store/Sears Roebuck at the time, and from the late 1950s, Danelectro guitars like this one were sold nationwide under the Silvertone brand. Many of these were sold as a set with an amp case, like this amp-in-case, and were very popular among beginners at the time. The guitar itself is a model #1448, a very simple model with a double cutaway shape and one lipstick pickup mounted, with volume and tone controls. The follow-body structure makes it very light and cheap, but the cool black sparkle finish is also not to be missed. It's not loud, but the sound it produces is very retro and soothing, making it a cute model that's also a collector's item. You can use just the guitar on stage, or as a set, it's a great item for room interior decor. Please inspect pictures for condition reference.
