Description: Here is a beautiful German Beer Stein for sale. Made by Simon Peter Gerz co. This was made in West Germany for export to English speaking countries. Has the words Gute Waid Jagers Freund on it which is German for Good Forrest a Hunter's Friend. Beautiful blue coloring with two men in hats with feathers and what appears to be two mills depicted surrounded by flowers. This has the number 3691 inside the handle. On the bottom is stamped Made In Germany and a number 29 with what looks like the word dondgomelo over the number and the stein inside a triangle logo. The pewter lid has some wear and some slight tarnishing and a small dent along the inside rim. Inside the lid are the letters DBGM, dating it as post-1949.The owner has had this in his collection since the 1960's. Stein is in fairly decent shape, not in mint condition but still a nice addition to any collection. Measures roughly nine inches high ( 6 inches for the ceramic stein.3 inches for the pewter lid) and weighs 1 and 3/4 lbs. Please check out our other items for sale. Thank You for looking!
