Douglas McChristian mentions in his 1880-1892 reference book that the U.S. marked utensils were government issue and utensils lacking that marking were made for the commercial market by the same contractor who made them for the Army. Unmarked utensils were used by the Army and such examples have been found on the Little Bighorn Battlefield. This lot will be shipped via UPS. (United Parcel Service)
