Item: LED ZEPPELIN - Houses of the Holy LP - SD 19130 - Robert Ludwig Monarch Pressing- Description/notes: Monarch reissue with RL (Robert Ludwig) in matrix. Exact matrix shown in last photo at bottom. Not the greatest of condition here, but somewhat decent. I've played this masterpiece many times. The gatefold cover was also thumb-tacked to my wall during my younger years.Note: I gotta laugh at all the sellers calling their reissues "1st Press"! There are very few first presses out there and they require specific verification checks. When you see me calling something "1st Press", that's because it IS. This isn't a first press, but a release from that time frame. Condition: LP is VG, with several surface marks and scuffs. I don't ever remember is skipping. Cover is a VG with the holes mentioned above but otherwise OK. Sleeve is also VG and decent. Again, not "perfect lp" winner -- but hey, it's a real nearly 50-year old ZEP! And it's a LUDWIG!!
