Available for immediate purchase is this exquisite, early 1980s vintage, new in box, never opened, completely full, guaranteed authentic (Early Inked Batch Number: 691; Reference Number: 51699-311; Pre-UPC), made in Canada, Coty Wild Musk Oil in a 0.50-ounce (1/2 ounce or 14ml) size with plastic dauber insert by Coty Division Pfizer, Canada branch. Musk oil can be used as a traditional perfume at the pulse points. A little goes a long way. All photos were taken in natural light at 40x magnification to best highlight overall item condition. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured. Please note: it is extremely rare to find the earlier Wild Musk bottles with their boxes intact as most have been lost over time. Also, most sellers do not know which formulation they have and often list reformulations as original or within the incorrect decade. Only the bottles with a PAPER label are from the 1970s. Baked-on labels resembling the paper labels were used during the 1980s and a more streamlined baked-on label (without the Western motif/frame styling) was used during the 1990s and into the mid-2000s. These bottles are distributed by “Coty Inc.” and feature the shorter, “311-14” reference number. The item in this listing can be confirmed as being from the early 1980s as it features any ink-stamped batch number at the base, the label is the stylized, baked-on Western version, there is no UPC (bar code) on the box, the reference number (51699-311) is longer, and there is no list of ingredients on either the bottle or box.
