Description: This is a Bronze & Gold coloured cable chain pendant necklace made from an Australian PENNY coin. The earliest is from 1939, latest from 1957 These "Kangaroo" pennies were legal tender until 1966 when they were replaced by the Australian Dollar. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. Coins from 1953 & later carry the Queen's head. The cable chain is Gold plated with a Lobster claw clasp.
