Description: DESCRIPTION: A fine pair of English Chamberlain Worcester "Japan" pattern dessert plates. Lightly transferred then hand painted with overglaze enamels. The colors are are nice and bright. A tranquil scene of two gentlemen in a tea house watching two cranes. Both plates bear the factory mark "Chamberlain Worcester New Bond St. London". Dating from about 1815 - 1822. Stands are not included. MEASUREMENTS: The plates measure 8.5" diameter. CONDITION: Both plates in great condition, with wear to pattern and gilt border.
