Description: Pair of French, mid century modern, Lucite-covered Raffia Decor or Trinket Trays. This unusual small trays measure 8 1/4" long and 6" wide and have gently sloped edges that are 7/8" high. The inside, indented, flat center section measures 6" long and 3" wide to hold accessories on a bar, vanity or side table. Found at a European flea market among other period bamboo and raffia items. Note: strands of the woven raffia extend beyond the acrylic edges in a couple of places on these trays, so submerging these in water or dishwasher cleaning are not recommended; wipe with a damp cloth to clean.
