Yale University Art Gallery and lastly onethat is for sale which puts forth athorough description. This was sold through Louis Katz Art Galleries 308 Columbus Avenue New York City who were at that location around 1911-1915. This black oak frame is original but overall framing required some updating. We have had TruView Museum Glass installed which is an antireflective uv protection glass. Replaced the original cracked wood gold fillet with a new wood one and had Conservation Acid Free Backing Boardreplace the three wood backing panels which allowedthe framer to even the piece nicely.
