Description: This Indian Wars (circa 1880's) leather Messenger-Document Bag is a piece of military history that has survived approximately 144 years. "US" is embossed on the flap. The buckles, saddle ring, and rivets appear to be brass. It is in excellent found condition for its age, with no damage or repairs. It measures 13" high x 13 1/2" wide, not including the shoulder strap. The leather shoulder strap is original and intact and the leather is not cracked or broken like most of these old military bags are found. A prize piece for any military memorabilia collector. Please check the photos for condition. Please email any questions you may have. Buyer to pay within 2 days after close of auction. I want the buyer to be 100% satisfied so I allow a full refund (minus the return shipping of course) and the buyer has 14 days to return the item. I ship all of my items insured so as to protect the investment of the winning bidder...thanks for looking!
