Description: Up for bids is this WW1 Canadian made glengarry that belonged to a member of the 219th Overseas Battalion. This glengarry is in incredibly good condition for being over 100 years old. Please check our photos for exact shape and condition. It is my understanding that these khaki glengarries were issued in Canada but they did not see use overseas. It has the Canadian C-broadarrow and is stamped "Ainsley & Dineen Hat & Fur Co 1916 Toronto" I purchased this item from a prominent Canadian militaria dealer a number of years ago. It has been in my collection ever since. It is now time to pass it on to somebody else to care for. Our measurements are in inches.
