Description: For sale is a signed limited edition (13/260) Thornton Wilder ‘The Angel That Troubled the Waters and Other Plays’ 1st Edition hardback book – Published Longmans 1928 This signed copy is number 13 of 260 copies and is signed in black pen by Thornton Wilder Comes with tipped in coloured card opposite the title page The book overall is in good condition since it was published nearly 100 years ago. The binding is tight but the hand-made paper has started to tan and spot particularly at the edges. The text block upper edge is gilt and smooth. The long text block sideways edge and lower edge are rough as its hand-made paper. Spotting is evident along the text block sideways edge. The light blue cloth boards with gilt edges are firm but some of the corners are bumped and slightly scuffed.
