This revision to the silent sling; this one is made a bit longer than the "original at 52 inches" and the newer longer "version is 74 inches" this is so it fits over and around the head, so it will rest over the shoulder as your patrol carry. This is a current issue item today, not so easy to come by in the original packaging... This sling is the same one listed in the Colt armor's manual as no.CM102.
