Description: For sale is a very good condition hardcover copy of The Heroes of Greek Fairy Tales for My Children by Charles Kingsley. Published ca. 1885 by E. P. Dutton & Co. in New York. Features 6 beautiful color plates and 70 half-tone illustrations by illustrator T. H. Robinson. Extremely minor separation along back hinge; however, binding is holding quite sound. Pages are generally unmarked, with the exception of previous owner's gift inscription on recto side of frontispiece, small piece of tape affixed to first free endpaper, minor wear to fore edges of page 7 - 8, and minor rubbing to gilt fore edges. There is a bookstore sticker from the famous Brentano's Booksellers and Stationer's is affixed to the last pastedown endpaper. Covers and spine feature gorgeous color illustration and gilt lettering. Boards are clean and square with minor rubbing and shelf wear. Book is wrapped in clear removable sleeve. Please see photos for condition detail. L-404
