Description: This listing is for a very cool item from the 1950's-60's when smoking was the thing to do. I acquired this item in February of 2008 from a seller in the UK. In my notes they said it was Italian, but I find no marks of any kind anywhere on the 3 ashtrays nor the lighter. As shown all 4 pieces stack. The finish is chrome over metal. The red green yellow ashtrays are plastic. Very cool the 3 colors are that of a stoplight and the shape is an arrow. Notice the metal part comes off each ashtray, maybe so the plastic can be washed without getting the metal wet ??? Weight is 17oz. Each ashtray is 3.5oz. Height is about 4" to the top of the lighter. Overall size is about 4 1/4" x 3 1/2". Lighter uses butane with a flint wheel action & does not work. Maybe it can be repaired or maybe it needs to be replaced. Item is being sold as is.
