This listing is for a vintage Brilhart mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. It is a Carlsbad, CA era Brilhart, with the serial number 238829 on the side in small font. This is an Ebolin version of the "Special" model. The Special was designed for students, although it is still a very good quality mouthpiece. It was made in only one facing, that which was considered ideal for the design of the piece, and for its target demographic. The tip opening measures .042". It is in excellent, and original, condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth. There are no tooth marks on the beak. The cork is in excellent condition.
