Description: This listing is for a vintage ceramic tiki mug that was sold by the now closed Victorian horror themed bar and restaurant called the Jekyll & Hyde Club located in New York City. It was manufactured by the tiki mug company Dynasty with item number # DW530-8W. This embossed mug features the logo and name of the bar on one side along with a quote on the backside of the mug. The mug measures roughly just under 6" high. And while I have marked this mug as being pre-owned, in reality it's never actually been used to drink out of, nor has it ever been put into a dishwasher. Instead it's only been occasionally displayed or otherwise stored away. I've been the only owner of this mug since I received it from the manufacturer when I visited their warehouse years ago. So this particular mug was never even put into circulation at the restaurant. Since then it's been stored in a smoke-free, climate controlled home and away from any direct sunlight to prevent fading. In terms of the condition of the mug, it's still in good displayable condition. It has a few moderate manufacturing defects including a rough spot on the bottom side of the mug (see photo). There's also a few spots on the glaze that are slightly rough with moderate wear on the black paint. But actual paint loss on the surface is fairly minimal.
