Description: Vintage Newsboy Cap or Flat Cap in plaid. These are same cap, but a slightly different plaid pattern than other newsboy caps we have currently listed. These are NOS (New, Old Stock) caps that have been sitting in their original box for decades in the storage room of a long closed Country Store in Eastern PA. They are Made in the USA and they are exceptional! At the time of listing I have three (3) of these in this Large / X-Large size (see other listings for same cap in Small / Medium size). These are untouched NOS ... all have their tissue paper storage packing. Others (different plaid styles) from this box have their American Gentleman tag still attached. I've included a picture of both sides of that tag, and the box, just so you can see. This hat will not have the American Gentleman tag. I'd date these to the 1970s. Very airy, light fabric, with a stitched silk lined interior. Snap closure on front of cap to bill. Stitched leather or vinyl band, that stretches to fit Large to X-Large head sizes. These are super quality and never worn! Sitting in a box for decades so maybe you need to air them out a bit before wearing.
