Description: Vintage One-Quart Milk Jug From Okino Dairy Farm, Springfield, Missouri, Clear Glass With Red Pyroglaze Graphics. In very fine used condition, this milk jug bears signs of use wear including small scratches and very mild wear to the red graphics. The glass remains shiny. I've called the glass clear, however there seems to be an extremely slight pink tint to it. The bottle is 9-1/2 inches tall, and the lower two-thirds of the bottle is square. There is a vintage paper milk bottle cap on the bottle. It is unrelated to Okino, but bears the logo of "Young's Yankee Dairy, Walla Walla, Washington." This paper cap is in fine used condition. The bottle likely dates from the 1930's through the 1950s, but its actual age is not known. Owned by one Greene County, MO, family for many years, and stored in a non-smoking environment.
