Our reproduction is made from heavy leather with brass buckle and tongue. This sling is also very similar in design to many older patterns and may be found suitable for other impressions dating from the late 18th century through middle 19th century. The large swivel clip is designed to attach to the carbine's sling bar or ring when riding.
